DISCOVER THE WORLD OF CREATIVE CREATIONS BASED ON DATA USING D3.JS


PROGRAMME IN HIGH LEVEL TOPICS

  • Show cases: The student will get introduced to one of the most unique and special data visualizations created with D3.js.
  • Coding environment: The student will get started by setting up and understanding our coding environment, followed by an introduction to basic Html and CSS structures
  • Selections & Data: The student will get familiar with the main d3 principals of selecting as well as data loading and binding.
  • Drawing with data: The student will create your frst simple data visualization using D3.js and learn that there endless of options to create the same output when working with the D3 toolbox.
  • Scaling & Axis: The student will learn the di?erent scaling options together with the why & how they are used.
  • Animation Web based visualizations: learning the concept of animations and how they can be applied to our data.
  • Interactivity: The student will gain a broad understanding of the concept of interactivity and how it is applied using D3.
  • Real examples: The student will walk through real-life examples and create a advanced data visualization make use of all the previous gained knowledge

  • No previous knowledge is necessary, even though a background in programming is helpful
